New Crystal Hospital, a National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA)-credentialed healthcare provider with seven branches across Ghana, donated cleaning tools and equipment to facilitate the monthly nationwide clean-up exercise in July.
The second edition of the monthly exercise was held at the Head Office, across its regional and district offices, formed by the firm’s efforts to promote staff well-being, environmental sanitation, and service excellence.
The items donated were wheelbarrows, machetes, hand gloves, brooms, boots, and brushes worth thousands of cedis.
The kind gesture reflects the health institution’s commitment to partnering with NHIA to promote a clean, healthy, and safe working environment.
The Head of Marketing and Business Development at New Crystal Hospital, Mr. Gidel Favor, who presented the items on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Wisdom Amegbletor, thanked NHIA for birthing this initiative to promote the well-being of citizens.
He pledged the hospital’s support for initiatives that enhance workplace wellness and environmental cleanliness.
Receiving the items on behalf of NHIA, Director of Administration Mr. Raymond Avinu and directors from the Corporate Affairs Directorate and Management Information System expressed their profound appreciation to New Crystal Hospital for the generous support.
He emphasized that the donation reinforces the strong partnership between the Authority and its credentialed healthcare providers and will contribute significantly to sustaining the monthly clean-up exercise.
Following the success of the maiden post-flood clean-up campaign, the monthly clean-up exercise and wellness instituted by the Chief Executive of NHIA, Dr. Victor Asare Bampoe, have become an integral part of the Authority’s efforts to foster a healthy workforce and maintain a clean and productive working environment.
