Residents Of Maamobi & Accra NewTown Shows Appreciation To Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu

Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu as part of the International Youth Day celebration has organized a free health insurance registration and renewal for the residents of Ayawaso North Municipality in the Greater Accra Region.

The exercise started at the Maamobi Hamburg Mosque and ended up at Accra Newtown on the 4th and 5th of August respectively.

Residents from the two communities have shown appreciation to the astute business magnate cum philanthropist for the kind gesture.

They lauded him for his unflappable support to the residents most especially to the teeming youth across the Zongo Communities in the country.

Hajia Mariama Issah a beneficiary of the philanthropic gesture from Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu thanked him for the initiative and appealed to him to embark on the exercise annually to ease the burden of those who can’t afford to acquire the National Health Insurance card.

Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu in his remarks noted that the exercise forms part of the International Youth Day summit slated for August 12, 2023, at the National Mosque Kanda.

“The free health insurance registration, renewal, and health screening are part of the International Youth Day Summit. I’m very much impressed with the people who show up. From the elderly, youth, and children. I want to express my profound gratitude to the Ayawaso North Municipal Social Welfare Director, The National Health Insurance office for the good job done”.

The National Youth Ambassador for Peace and Development complimented all those who participated in the exercise to make it great.

The exercise was supported by the Maamobi General Hospital and Rabito Clinic with free health screening.

A total of 1,500 individuals benefited from the health screening and health insurance.
