Stonebwoy to perform at 50th SWAG Awards

Multiple-award winning reggae-dancehall artist, Livingstone Etse Satekla, known in showbiz as Stonebwoy, will perform at the Golden Jubilee of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Awards slated for November 15 at the Accra International Conference Center.

The Bhim Nation President will bring his energetic performance and artistry to climax the milestone celebration, which marks SWAG’s 50 years of contribution to sports journalism while acknowledging athletes.

The one-day event under the theme “Honoring the Best to Inspire the Rest” will see over 30 athletes and women being decorated on the night for their excellence across various sporting disciplines in the year 2024.

Stonebwoy, who continues to have an illustrious music career spanning more than one decade, has been very vibrant in the music circles with back-to-back hits.

He is expected to thrill athletes, officials and administrators on the night to tunes from his hit songs such as ‘Manodzi’, ‘Jejereje’, ‘Into the future’, ‘Kpokeke’, Psalms 23’, among others.

His hard work and talent has won him many awards, among which include; BET Awards (Best International Act), International Reggae and World Music Awards (Best African Reggae/Dancehall Entertainer), Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste), among others.

Football legends Abedi Pele, Stephen Appiah, Michael Essien and Adwoa Bayor will be honored, as well as boxing legend Azumah Nelson.

The Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah, will grace the ceremony as the special guest of honor.
