NiBS University has appointed Dr. Ing. Peter Godslove Debrah as Senior Lecturer in Leadership and Management, recognising his professional experience in executive leadership, strategic management and organisational development.
The appointment will see Dr. Debrah undertake teaching, postgraduate research supervision, academic mentoring and research at the university.
According to the university’s Office of the Registrar, the appointment reflects management’s recognition of Dr. Debrah’s academic qualifications and professional experience in business administration and leadership.
His doctoral research focused on the appropriateness of different leadership styles before, during and after an organizational crisis.
The university considers the research relevant to contemporary leadership practice and management education, particularly as organisations seek effective ways to anticipate, manage and recover from crises.
NiBS University expressed confidence that Dr. Debrah’s combination of academic knowledge and practical leadership experience would strengthen its teaching, research and postgraduate supervision.
The university also expects his appointment to enhance students’ learning experiences and support its delivery of practical, relevant education in leadership and management.
The appointment takes effect subject to the university’s administrative arrangements following his formal acceptance of the offer.
