From Big Ada to the Border: The Inspiring Journey of Adelita Kabuki Ami Tettegah.

At just age 27 years old, Adelita Kabuki Ami Tettegah known by her brand name “Baby Adelle” has proven beyond reasonable doubts that you are never too young to pursue your dreams and there is no limit to what we can achieve as humans if we stay focused and determined.

Born on October 10, 1998, and hailing from Big Ada, She has spent her last decade demonstrating that age is not a respecter of barrier.

Baby Adelle’s resilience stems from her strong educational foundation. She attended St. Mary’s Preparatory School for her basic education and continued at Accra Girls’ Senior High School.

In a bid to satisfy her hunger for more excellence, she enrolled with University of Ghana to pursue B.A in Psychology and Sociology. She was the youngest finalist at the 2017 edition of Miss Ghana at age 18.

Graciously, it was here at the age of 19 years old that Adelita’s Entrepreneurial journey commenced. Driven by the desire to witness young girls get to the apex of their set goals, she graciously founded the Adelle Ushering Agency.

It was not easy at the beginning. She had to endure and turn every challenge that life threw at her in her own favor. Currently, the Agency, has greatly grew into a powerhouse, employing about 50 ladies and managing about 200 high-profile events, including MTN Golf Program in Tafo and the Vodafone (Telecel) Coding Launch in Accra.

While her business flourished, Baby Adelle’s zeal and sense of duty led her toward national service.

She was recruited into the Ghana Immigration Service at age 23. As always, adapting into a new environment can sometimes be stressful; even though her transition from the corporate world into inflexibilities of a six-month para-military training was grueling, she still kept pushing knowing well that achieving one’s goals in life requires determination and the willingness to arrive at a certain destination.

As an Assistant Superintendent of Immigration, She a Senior Officer responsible for managing Ghana’s border Security. Her rise through the ranks at a young age is very admirable and has also become a beacon of hope for girls in Big Ada and also every young girl seeking to attain some higher level in their quest for greatness.

Just when they thought it was all over, Adelle’s quest for more continued. She expanded her academic horizon by graduating and earning a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management with Informatics at Ghana Communication Technology University in the year 2025 with plans to pursue a PhD later.

Adelle’s ultimate goal balances with her passion for service and education. With her love for humanity, she intends to build a Girls’ secondary school to help young girls achieve their set goals.

Within the Adelle Foundation (NGO) and her daily work, Adelle continues to advocate for the youth. Her message to the young girls of today is simple yet profound: “Take your education seriously and never give up on what you are pursuing. Whether it is technical skills or vocational training, keep pushing, because there is surely light at the end of every tunnel.”

Adelita Kabuki Ami Tettegah stands as a testament to what can be achieved through self-discipline, education, and an unwavering will to succeed from within.
