Extremely talented and versatile fast growing broadcast journalist, Abena Korantemaa also known as Abena Mozeeno has been crowned overall winner of the maiden edition of Atinka Radio Icon — a reality show organized by Accra based Atinka Fm, subsidiary of Atinka Media Village under the Tobinco Group of Companies.
The contest started with a huge number of participants and through thirteen weeks of talent showcasing, the competition got bigger and tougher, some were evicted and twenty were taken to the grand finale. At the end of who competition, Abena Korantemaa who is known for her eloquence and confidence was crowned overall winner.
This was based on votes and remarks from judges from the beginning of the program.
Abena winner this competition comes with lots of prizes and opportunities including cash, a year contract with the media conglomerate etc.
Abena received GHC5,000 cash prize plus one year working contract with AMV with monthly allowances.
The first runner up gets GHC3,000 cash prize plus 6 month working contract with AMV.
The second runner up gets GHC2,000 cash prize plus 3 months working contract with monthly allowances.
Abena holds a degree in communication studies from the Ghana Institute of Journalism,Accra, Ghana.
