Describing the vibe of the song, Billboy Vybz said it is playful, romantic, and filled with the excitement that comes with an unforgettable first encounter. The song captures the feeling of becoming deeply attracted to someone within a very short period of time and wanting to pursue that connection.
Musically, Passenger blends rich Afrobeats and Afropop influences with relatable Pidgin expressions, creating a catchy and easy-to-sing-along sound. The repeated use of the title word “Passenger” serves as a memorable hook that is expected to resonate strongly with listeners.
