CAF Launches Broadcast Academy To Elevate African Football TV Production

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has taken a significant step towards enhancing the quality of TV production and broadcast standards in African football.

The organization has launched the CAF Broadcast Academy and the TV Director’s Programme, with the inaugural workshop held at the state-of-the-art SuperSport Studios in Johannesburg for 18 TV Directors from 16 English-speaking countries.

As part of the CAF President, Dr Patrice Motsepe’s vision, this initiative is designed to uplift the technical skills of African broadcasters, producers and directors, enabling them to deliver high-quality football content that meets international standards.

The CAF Broadcast Academy and the TV Director’s Programme will provide a comprehensive training platform, focusing on the latest broadcasting technologies, production techniques and best practices.

The launch of the CAF Broadcast Academy and the TV Director’s Programme is a strategic move to enhance the global appeal of African football.

By improving the quality of TV production and broadcast standards, CAF aims to increase the sport’s visibility, attract new audiences and strengthen its position in the global football landscape.
