The Lemon Family Foundation has committed to providing full educational support to 70 brilliant but needy students in selected schools within the Komenda Edina Eguafo Abrem (KEEA) Municipality of the Central Region.
The initiative is aimed at removing financial barriers that often prevent brilliant but needy children from pursuing their education effectively and achieving their academic aspirations.

Speaking to the media, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Lemon Family Foundation, Isaac Yirenkyi, popularly known as MC Kenya, said supporting brilliant but needy students has been part of the foundation’s vision.
He explained that the foundation seeks to give beneficiaries and their parents peace of mind by taking responsibility for their educational needs and ensuring that financial difficulties do not disrupt their studies.
As part of the initiative, the Lemon Family Foundation has provided learning materials to the beneficiaries to cover their educational needs throughout the academic year.

The foundation has also paid the necessary school-related fees for the year, thereby easing the financial burden on parents.
Mr Yirenkyi disclosed that the foundation has made a long-term commitment to the 70 selected students and intends to support them throughout their educational journey until they complete university.
He said the support would allow the beneficiaries to concentrate on their studies, perform well academically and work towards becoming productive members of society.
The Lemon Family Foundation is financed from the profits generated through the operations of businesses under the Lemon Group, including Lemon Beach Resort and its guests, Lemon Lounge Restaurant, Anomansa Restaurant in the Elmina Castle area, and Lemon Arcades Expedice Centre in Cape Coast.
The model allows profits from the businesses and patronage from their guests and customers to contribute towards the foundation’s social interventions, particularly in education and community development.
The Headmistress of Bronyibima M/A School, Madam Edna Tamakloe, expressed appreciation to the Lemon Family Foundation for its continuous support towards students and the school.
She commended the foundation for identifying the needs of brilliant but needy pupils and providing the necessary assistance to enable them to remain focused on their education.
The Assembly Member for Bronyibima, Hon. John Charles Mensah, also expressed gratitude to the foundation on behalf of parents and the community.
He said the intervention would go a long way towards reducing the financial burden on parents while motivating the beneficiaries to take their education seriously.
Representatives of the Elmina Traditional Area also commended the Lemon Family Foundation for its contribution towards education and the development of young people within the area.
They described investment in education as an investment in the future of the community and encouraged the foundation to sustain the initiative.
Also in attendance were Mr and Mrs Amissah, representatives of the Lemon Group of Companies, who joined the foundation, school authorities, parents and other stakeholders to support the beneficiaries.
The Lemon Family Foundation has reiterated its commitment to investing in education and creating opportunities for brilliant but needy children to pursue their academic dreams without being hindered by financial challenges.
