Hope Renewal Center (HORECE), a non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the welfare of children and other vulnerable groups, has donated 200 pairs of sandals to pupils of Asibirim DA Basic School in the Eastern Region.
The donation, presented by Ms. Helena Asamoah on behalf of HORECE Founder, Maame Afua Akoto, forms part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to support education and promote the well-being of children.
The initiative seeks to provide footwear for children who, due to financial challenges, sometimes have to walk to school barefoot.
The Headmaster of Asibirim DA Basic School, Enoch Arthur, together with the staff and pupils, expressed their appreciation to HORECE for the gesture.
Speaking on behalf of the pupils, Fiduas Mohammed, a KG 2 pupil, thanked the organization and prayed for blessings upon the donors.
Maame Afua Akoto and the HORECE directorate expressed hope that the initiative would inspire other organizations and individuals to support children in need, emphasizing that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in helping children reach their full potential.
