SB Breastplate Services Donates To LEKMA Hospital To Mark First Anniversary

SB Breastplate Services Limited, a trusted name in chemical supply, cleaning and hygiene solutions visited and donated items to the LEKMA Hospital at Teshie last Friday.

The items donated included; packs of hand tissues, toilet tissue, cleaning detergents, deodorizing cleaners, hand soaps, cleaning chemicals, disinfectants among others worth GH₵20,000 cedis.

As part of SB Breastplate’s one-year anniversary celebration, the team will in the coming days take up a clean-up exercise at the health facility as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) in Health and Education.

However, the company earlier supported the Barima Osei Educational Fund with a cash donation of GH₵5,000 cedis in support of its fund-raising project last weekend at Osino Saamang, in the Eastern Region.

Speaking at the short ceremony held at the hospital’s premises, the Sales Manager of SB Breastplate, Mrs Rachael Aba Agra said the firm was keen on making an impact at where they serve rather than just making profit.

“When we started SB Breastplate, it was not only about making sales in the business, but making an impact in the community we serve and the world at large. We are grateful to LEKMA hospital for agreeing to partner with us to deliver on our promise”.

According to Mrs Aba Agra, it is their priority to ensure the well-being of people in the community, as well as enhancing cleanliness. She lauded the good work of LEKMA Hospital, urging them to continue.

“LEKMA is doing a marvelous job serving the people in this municipality. We urge you to continue. As today marks part of our one-year anniversary celebration, we remain grateful for the opportunity,” she added.

The Special Guest who represented the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ledzokuku Constituency, Hon. Saint Kabu, applauded SB Breastplate for choosing LEKMA Hospital.

“We know your company is an international one and to choose LEKMA within our municipality, we are grateful,” he said.

Hon Kabu who doubles as the Chairman for Social Services Committee affirmed the municipality’s commitment to work together to ensure an enabling environment for SB Breastplate to thrive.

“The Municipality is ready to support you to ensure your dreams come to reality. Our doors are always open being it business or Cooperate Social Responsibility (CSR) to make our country a clean and safe place to stay,” he added.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Hospital, the Head of Nursing and Midwifery, Mrs Esinam Adih Nartey thanked SB Breastplate for their kind gesture.

She added that the donation will strengthen the facility’s ability to maintain a safe environment for staff, patients and visitors.

SB Breastplate will climax their anniversary celebration with a networking and staff awards on November 28.
