Huge number of music lovers in white gathered at the iconic Black Star Square (Independence Square) on Saturday, October 18, 2025, as Shatta Wale lit up the night with a free concert in collaboration with MoMo Fest delivering a high-octane celebration of music, loyalty and culture.
From midday, the surrounding streets were already filled with eager fans decked out in the signature all-white look of the night. By showtime around 4 p.m., the Square was at capacity, with the energy peeking into the early hours of Sunday.

The lineup sparkled chart-toppers like Sarkodie, Wendy Shay, Medikal, Kelvynboy, Amerado and veterans such as Tinny took to the stage, each performance fuelling the night-long celebration. 
A standout moment came when Shatta Wale paused his usual showmanship to present Tinny with a citation, acknowledging his support early in Wale’s own career a reminder of respect and roots amid the party atmosphere. 

The festival’s cashless concept courtesy of MoMo Fest also brought innovation to the experience, fans could interact through mobile money activities, win prizes for singing Shatta Wale songs, and engage with a “MoMo Cashless Market” setup on site. 
With the event finally wrapping around 7:05 a.m. on Sunday, it was clear that ShattaFest25 wasn’t just another concert, it was a cultural moment, fusing high-energy performance with tech-savvy activation and communal joy.
