SAD NEWS: Apostle Kwadwo Safo Kantanka Is Dead

The Founder and Leader of the Kristo Asafo Mission, Apostle Dr. Kwadwo Safo Kantanka, has reportedly passed away.

According to reports carried by her daughter, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo, the revered man of God and industrialist died peacefully on Thursday, September 11, 2025.

The announcement was said to have been made by the Safo family together with the Kristo Asafo Church, who described his passing as a great loss to Ghana and the world.

Apostle Dr. Safo was widely celebrated not only as a religious leader but also as a visionary inventor, philanthropist, and industrialist, credited with establishing Kantanka Automobile and other innovations that promoted Ghanaian ingenuity.

Over the decades, he built a legacy as a man who combined faith, science, and technology, inspiring thousands through both his ministry and his inventions.

His contributions to local manufacturing, charity work, and the promotion of African identity will remain unmatched.

Details about his final funeral rites are expected to be communicated by the family and Kristo Asafo leadership in the coming days.
