King Of The Street, Shatta Wale Donates GHC 30,000 To Bus Stop Boys.

Influential musical artiste and entrepreneur, Charles Nii Armah Mensah known widely as Shatta Wale has donated an amount of thirty thousand Ghana cedis to the Bus Stop Boys — a group of energetic Ghanaian males and females who have devoted themselves to clean public spaces in the country.

With cutlasses, brooms, shovels and dustbins, these young people are causing positive change in the society. Their activities are getting attention from many influential personalities. Shatta Wale through the Shatta Foundation yesterday visited the guys to share with them words of motivation and also appreciate them for their distinctive contribution to ensure betterment of the country.

“I came here to simply support and motivate them (the Buzz Stop Boys) in their efforts. We all know that the system is hard, so if we have people like them going to communities to make sure our environment is safe, I think they deserve support.”

“So through my foundation, I deem it right to support their campaign, and I hope they would go on in making our environment clean to promote healthy living,” he said.

Through this, the Bus Stop Boys and Shatta Wale have exemplified the phenomenal power of grassroots initiatives and the positive influence that social media can have on community engagement. In a world where environmental issues are at the forefront, these young Ghanaians are proving that change begins at the local level, one bus stop at a time.
