Felix Kwakye Ofosu Donates 3,000 Mathematical Sets To BECE Candidates In His Constituency

In a move to support academic excellence and reduce the burden on parents, Presidential Spokesperson and parliamentary hopeful, Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has donated 3,000 mathematical sets to Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates within his constituency as the nationwide exams begin this Wednesday.

Presidential Spokesperson and aspiring Member of Parliament, Hon. Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has demonstrated his commitment to education by donating 3,000 mathematical sets to Junior High School students preparing for the upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in his constituency.

The donation, which was made over the weekend, comes just days before the official start of the 2025 BECE on Wednesday.

It is aimed at equipping candidates with essential tools needed to effectively tackle the mathematics paper and to boost their confidence as they begin this important phase of their academic journey.

Speaking at a brief ceremony to present the items, Hon. Kwakye Ofosu emphasized the importance of education in national development and assured students of his continued support.

“Education remains a powerful tool for transforming lives, and I believe every child deserves a fair chance to succeed, regardless of their background,” he said.

He further encouraged the candidates to stay focused and give their best, expressing confidence that they will excel.

Teachers, parents, and school heads in the constituency expressed their appreciation for the gesture, noting that it will greatly relieve financial pressure on families and motivate the candidates.

The BECE is a crucial national examination that determines placement into senior high schools and other tertiary institutions in Ghana.

This year’s exams are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, with thousands of students participating across the country.
