Betty King International Ministries promotes investment & economic growth with Cape Coast Business Summit

Business leaders, entrepreneurs, government officials, traditional authorities, and investors converged in Cape Coast for the Cape Coast Business Summit, organized by Betty King International Ministries, a platform aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, attracting investment, and promoting economic growth in the Central Region.

The summit brought together business people from Cape Coast and across the Central Region under one roof to discuss opportunities, challenges, and strategies for positioning the region as a major business hub.

Chairman of the event, Osabarimba Dr. Kwesi Atta II, urged participants to cultivate a culture of punctuality and readiness, stressing that business opportunities often favor those who are prepared.

According to him, entrepreneurs must be time-conscious and position themselves strategically to take advantage of opportunities whenever they arise.

The Metropolitan Chief Executive for the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly, Hon. George Justice Arthur, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting businesses and creating an enabling environment for investment and growth.

He encouraged business owners to embrace collaboration rather than competition, emphasizing that partnerships and collective efforts are essential for sustainable economic development.

Central Regional Minister, Hon. Ekow Panyin Okyere Eduamoah, also challenged participants to remain prepared for opportunities that come their way and to maximize them for personal and community development.

He further advised business owners not to allow political affiliations to influence their business decisions, noting that economic growth should transcend political interests.

One of the speakers at the summit, Mr. Paul Allen, prophesied a brighter future for Cape Coast, declaring that God’s grace would rest upon the city and attract major investors in the coming years.

He expressed confidence that Cape Coast is destined for greater economic prosperity and development.

The main speaker for the event, Mr. Tonye Patrick Cole, urged residents and entrepreneurs to prepare themselves for emerging opportunities, stating that Cape Coast has the potential to become one of Africa’s most attractive destinations for business and investment.

He encouraged stakeholders to work together to build a business-friendly environment capable of attracting both local and international investors.

Host of the summit, Reverend Betty King, challenged Cape Coasters to change their attitudes towards work, time management, and productivity.

She stressed that while efforts are being made to attract investors to the city, the success of such initiatives will depend largely on the readiness and seriousness of the people.

According to her, investors are willing to invest in Cape Coast, but residents must demonstrate professionalism, commitment, and a strong work ethic to sustain business growth and development.

The summit ended with a renewed call for collaboration among government, traditional leaders, businesses, and residents to transform Cape Coast into a leading economic and investment destination in Ghana and Africa.
