Akosua High Tension Of Atinka TV/FM Honored At Africa Peace Advocates Awards.

Extremely experienced, multiple award winning radio and television broadcaster, Akosua Agyeiwaa High Tension who currently works for Atinka TV/FM has been honored at the 2023 Africa Peace Advocate Awards which was held yesterday.

This is to honor her for the outstanding contributions in ensuring peace and harmony in the society through her weekly educative social program, Efisem on Accra based Atinka Fm. On this show, she brings knowledgeable and highly experienced resource persons to inform and educate the masses on social issues.

Aside the Efisem on Atinka Fm, Akosua High Tension is also one of the biggest and most influential news personalities in the country and through that over the years, she has contributed immensely to the promotion of peace and harmony in many places in the country.

The Africa Peace Advocate Awards organized by the International Association of World Peace Advocates is a prestigious scheme that celebrates individuals, and organizations that are contributing significantly to the advancement of peace and harmony throughout the African continent.

This year’s event which has been described by organizers and many attendees as one of the greatest had over 25 personalities awarded, and it was graced by many dignitaries from all corners of the world.

In a media engagement after presentation of the plaques, Country Director of International Association of World Peace Advocates, Ambassador Bishop Samuel Owusu commended all awardees and encouraged them to do more to ensure peace in Africa especially in this challenging time of coup d’état.

Also, Flagbearer of the All-People’s Congress, Hassan Ayariga also praised all these awardees for their outstanding hard work.

Akosua High Tension is from the Ashanti Region of Ghana, she has closed to two decades industry experience. She started her career in the Ashanti region where she worked for some bigger media houses including Ash FM owned by Ghanaian business Mugul, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.

She moved to the greater Accra Region in 2015 to join Atinka Media Village — a media conglomerate owned by Samuel Amo Tobin, the brain behind Tobinco Pharmaceutical company Limited — a giant in the African pharmaceutical industry.

Akosua since 2015 has worked with Atinka TV/FM and through these platforms, she has contributed a lot to the betterment of human lives.
