The Kevin Okyere Foundation has donated GH₵30,000 to support Grandma Mamele, an elderly woman whose heartbreaking story recently captured public attention.
The cheque, dated 16th February 2026 and issued through First National Bank, was presented to Kobby Kyei, who documented and shared Grandma Mamele’s story. His coverage brought widespread awareness to her condition and helped rally support from individuals and organizations touched by her situation.
Grandma Mamele’s story highlighted the difficult realities many vulnerable elderly people face, including poor living conditions and limited access to proper healthcare. What was once a painful narrative of neglect has now become one of hope and renewed dignity.
