Hailing from the lively coastal enclave of Shama in Ghana’s Western Region, Vincent Amakye Nyame has long been captivated by the power of color, form, and visual storytelling. From his earliest days at Shama Castle International School, Vincent’s curiosity and natural flair for creativity set him apart.
His educational journey spanned borders, attending Lily Child International School in Lagos, Nigeria, before returning to Ghana to complete his junior high education at All Saints Anglican JHS in Takoradi. His secondary school years at Diabene Sec/Tech and Shama Senior High School further nurtured his artistic instincts.
After completing secondary school, Vincent enrolled in a three-month graphic design program at Emacks Unique Print in Takoradi’s Shama Junction. It was here that his raw talent was refined into professional skill, setting the stage for a career that would soon flourish; a designer was born.
Vincent quickly became a sought-after graphic designer and visual artist, known for his bold aesthetics, cultural relevance, and ability to translate vision into visuals. His new brand “Amisky Graphics” blossomed like a universal flower.
His client list reads like a who’s who of Ghanaian influence from political figures like Hon. Dorcas Affo-Toffey, Deputy Minister of Transport, to musical icons such as Shatta Wale, Kwaw Kese, Eno Barony, Eazzy, Keche, Donzy, Dr Cryme, Feli Nuna, Yaa Jackson, Medikal, and Lucky Mensah.
His designs have graced album covers, promotional campaigns, and brand identities that resonate across the entertainment industry. Beyond music, Amisky Graphix’s influence touches film, business, and lifestyle.
He’s collaborated with actors like Enock Darko and Frank Naro, and developed branding for institutions such as Shama Secondary School, Oasis Medical Consult, and POKS Properties. His ability to capture mood and identity is evident in his work for venues like Aussie Pub and Casamigos Lounge.
He’s also the creative mind behind the official logo of Sleeky Promotions, and has partnered with beat makers, fashion labels, and event organizers across Ghana and the diaspora including Alordia Promotions, Kobby Kyei News, and the Ghana Council of Georgia.
Vincent’s contributions have earned him widespread recognition. In 2018, he was honored as the Western Artistic Personality of the Year, a testament to his influence and innovation. He’s also received citations from the Face of SHASS organizers in both 2022 and 2025, symbolizing his continued relevance and leadership in the creative space.
