With over a decade of experience in broadcast journalism and media management, Annan has built a strong reputation for strategic thinking and operational excellence across television, radio, and digital platforms.
Before assuming her current role, she served as Head of Entertainment at Onua Group, part of Media General, where she led teams of producers, presenters, and content developers in delivering engaging entertainment programming. Earlier at Atinka Media Village, she worked as a media strategist, presenter, and reporter, gaining valuable experience in newsroom leadership and content development.
Beyond the newsroom, Annan is also a respected Master of Ceremonies, hosting high-profile events and mentoring emerging talents in the media industry. Her excellence has earned national recognition, including Show Host of the Year at the Youth Excellence Awards and MC of the Year at the Ghana Young Achievers Awards in 2021.
Passionate about social impact, she uses her platform to champion women’s empowerment, youth development, and inclusive public dialogue, often speaking at conferences and mentoring young women pursuing careers in media and leadership.
Armed with a master’s degree in media management from the Ghana Institute of Journalism, alongside professional training from the National Film and Television Institute and Methodist University College, Ghana, Annan continues to blend academic insight with practical industry expertise.
