GoldBod Jewelry, a leading subsidiary under the Ghana Gold Board, has appointed two of Ghana’s most influential personalities, Kwabena Ano key Adisi, popularly known as Bola Ray, and actress and media icon Joselyn Dumas, as its official Brand Ambassadors. The unveiling ceremony took place on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at the company’s head office in Accra.
The partnership is a strategic step aimed at projecting Ghana’s gold artistry to both local and international markets, while also promoting the country’s long-standing heritage of gold excellence. Through this collaboration, GoldBod Jewelry seeks to enhance public appreciation for authentic Ghanaian-made jewelry and reinforce confidence in ethical gold sourcing and world-class craftsmanship.
Speaking at the event, Chief Executive Officer of GoldBod, Mr. Sammy Gyamfi Esq., described the partnership as “a bold statement of intent” to position Ghana as Africa’s hub for luxury gold jewellery.
“Bola Ray and Joselyn Dumas represent excellence, authenticity, and sophistication, values that lie at the heart of the GoldBod brand,” he stated. “Their appointment marks a significant milestone in our mission to add value to Ghana’s gold resources through innovation, creativity, and local expertise.”

Mr. Gyamfi also highlighted that the initiative aligns with President John Mahama’s broader vision of transforming Ghana’s gold industry from a raw export-driven sector to one that promotes refined local production and exports of finished gold products.
Under their new roles, Bola Ray and Joselyn Dumas will lead brand campaigns, public relations engagements, and promotional activities that showcase GoldBod’s exquisite collections of fine gold and diamond jewelry. They will also serve as advocates for the appreciation of Ghanaian artistry and craftsmanship in luxury fashion and accessories.

The unveiling event attracted top industry figures, fashion influencers, and members of the creative arts community who lauded GoldBod’s commitment to empowering local industries and redefining the narrative around Ghanaian luxury.
With this ambassadorial partnership, GoldBod Jewelry aims to elevate its brand visibility while positioning Ghana as a global destination for authentic, ethically crafted gold jewelery.
