The much-anticipated second installment of DMV Party in the Park’s star-studded lineup has finally been released by the festival’s organizers. The festival is scheduled for Sunday, July 23, from 12:00 noon to 9:00 PM, with Joseph Hensley Park in Alexandra, Virginia, serving as its backdrop.
Following a successful first edition, the yearly festival, organized by BTL Africa and Starbuzz Media, has grown to become a global sensation known for its eclectic blend of musical genres and outstanding performances. The 2023 edition seems to live up to that promise, as a wide variety of performers from different genres are scheduled to perform on the festival’s illustrious stage.
The event’s organizers made it clear in a statement that they were committed to giving participants an extraordinary experience.

Ghanaian rap legend Sarkodie, known for his avant-garde soundscapes and moving lyricism, is headlining the one-day festival’s performances. Afrobeats-highlife crooner King Promise, who is renowned for his mesmerizing stage presence and powerful vocals, will be performing with him. DMV Party in the Park 2023 will also have a wide range of talented DJs from a variety of genres, including hip-hop, electronic music, alternative rock, Afrobeats, and Amapiano. Disk jockey sensations including DJ Rozay, DJ Teabee, DJ Akuaa, DJ Aroma, DJ K.O, DJ Blast, DJ MicSmith, DJ Mix Master Berto, and many others will perform for the audience.
The festival will provide immersive art displays, delectable cuisine, activities, and a colorful ambiance in addition to musical acts, giving attendees a genuinely unique experience.
