Half Ghanaian, half Nigerian Comedian and professional Master of Ceremony, Nana Osei Bonsu known in the Showbiz space as Okokobioko after a long time is back with another captivating and unforgettable comedy show — ‘Caught In The Middle.’
This beautiful show slated for September 16, 2023, will take place at the national theatre — one of the biggest and most popular event centers in the country. Known for his unique and extremely fascinating jokes, Okokobioko in a conversation with Kobby Kyei News said he is poised for action and that, all comedy lovers should come out to have a good time.
Aside him, lots of great comedians on the African continent have been billed to perform in the the night. The likes of OB Ampasah.
Okokobioko — a well-known name in the Ghanaian and Nigerian comedy space has performed on many big stages including the ones he put together himself. In 2017, he did his first show, did another one the next year which were all extremely successful.
He took a break for a while for several personal reasons, and he is finally coming come back for good. With this show — Caught In The Middle, Okokobioko is going beyond the normal jokes, he is going to tell a fascinating story of how he is caught in the middle of two country. He has a Nigerian mother and a Ghanaian father.
So, responding why he did not choose to do it at snap cinema in the Accra Metropolitan Assembly building, which is a bit smaller, he told Kobby Kyei News that he is aware of the capacity of the national theater — the multi-functional venue for concerts, dance, drama and musical performances, screenplays, exhibitions, special events and he has what it takes to fill it.
