All Set For Central Region Expo 2025: Initiative To Unlock & Showcase Business Opportunities.

The Central Regional Minister, Hon. Ekow Panyin Eduamoah Okyere, has announced a bold vision to transform the Central Region into a thriving business hub in Ghana, with a focus on creating jobs and unlocking the region’s vast potential.

The Minister made this declaration at the launch of the Central Expo 2025, a week-long annual exhibition fair that will take place from August 23rd to 30th, 2025, in Cape Coast.

With the theme “Unlocking Business Opportunities In The Central Region,” the expo aims to showcase the region’s rich indigenous culture, abundant natural resources, breathtaking tourist attraction sites, innovative businesses, and high-quality manufactured products.

The Minister emphasized that the Central Region has been unfairly labeled as poor, and he is determined to challenge this narrative by harnessing the region’s untapped potential.

According to the Minister, the region’s potential for growth and development is immense, and the Central Expo 2025 is a crucial step towards unlocking this potential.

He highlighted key areas such as tourism, agriculture, and education as critical sectors that will drive economic growth and development in the region.

In a significant development, Osaberima Dr. Nana Kwesi Atta II, the Paramount Chief of Oguaa Traditional Area, announced that the expo is extended to every business in Ghana, and all are invited.

This move is expected to bring together businesses, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across the country, providing a platform for networking, collaboration, and innovation.

The President of the Central Regional House of Chiefs and Paramount Chief of Breman Traditional Area, Odeefuo Amoakwa Buadu VIII, also spoke at the launch, urging stakeholders to work together to make the expo a success.

He emphasized the need for the region to think differently and strive for excellence in order to maximize the benefits of the expo.

The Central Expo 2025 is organized by the Regional Coordinating Council and promises to be an exciting event that will bring together businesses, entrepreneurs, and innovators to showcase their products and services.

By providing a platform for networking, collaboration, and innovation, the expo will play a significant role in transforming the Central Region into a thriving business hub in Ghana.
