Sultan Cares Extends Free Health Screening to Ashaiman Mali Estate Today

The Sultan Cares will today roll out their third face of the Free Health Screening initiative at Mali Estates, Nii Man Electoral Area, in Ashaiman.

The community outreach program aims to boost health literacy, provide early detection for common ailments in the municipality, and improve health access for residents.

The program officially kicked off on Saturday, October 7, where 100 residents in the Nii Annan Adjor Electoral Area were offered free medical checkups.

Residents in and around the community were screened for non-communicable diseases, including hypertension, diabetes, high blood pressure, and other health conditions.

The train then proceeded to Asensu Bar, Nii Doku Electoral Area, where over 100 people also had an equal share of the free medical screening initiative.

Local residents and individuals will receive firsthand patient and health professional consultation and medication while providing public health education.

The Free Health Screening is one of the key services under the Sultan Cares Foundation, a program committed to supporting and empowering people across the Ashaiman Community through practical interventions that improve lives and create opportunities.

With over 200 beneficiaries, the initiative will be expanded to other communities until the 700 target is met.

The Sultan Cares, as part of its mission, will in the coming weeks introduce a Skills Acquisition Program in Ashaiman, where 10-20 young people will be selected, trained, and equipped with opportunities.

The project seeks to provide entrepreneurship skills and training while creating opportunities to contribute to the fight against unemployment.
