Manchester United still remains the club that holds the highest number of EPL trophies worn in England, despite their recent woes.
In the post Ferguson era lots of managers had endeavored to waken the devil up but it seemed the devil in on a long sleeping spree, who knows maybe the devil is awaiting judgment. The likes of David Moyes, lui Van Gal, Jose Mourino and the baby faced assassin have all had their turns in trying to awaken the beast but all to no avail.
Erik Ten Hang seems to be the man with the magic wand that has annihilated the devil ones again. The Dutch man has really breathed some life into old Trafford, and has some serious dramatic performances going on at the theater of dreams.
They head to Wembley as they face Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup finals. The game is slated for the 26th of February 2023 at 9:30 pm.
Newcastle United have not played in any major finals since 1999. The Magpies have a been promised a whooping 1 million pounds each, in bonuses if they are able to edge pass Manchester United at wenbley on Sunday.
But in the mist of all this one player is left in a state of dilemma. Martin Dubravka who was with Manchester United during the round sixteen stage before moving to Newcastle will not get a medal if his current club wins at wembley. Martin Dubravka was on loan at Old Trafford earlier in the season, and is cup tied, having played in the last 16.Ironically that appearance, against Burley, means Dubravka would pick up a winner’s medal, only if his current team’s opponents on Sunday win the trophy.
