Award-winning news anchor and social program host, Akosua Agyeiwaa High-Tension has been appointed as an Ambassador for the Suicide Prevention Foundation, recognizing her efforts in social impact and mental health advocacy.
In an official appointment letter signed by the foundation’s Executive Director and Founder, Jesus Sarkwah Panti, Akosua was commended for her unwavering dedication to mental health awareness.
The letter highlighted her responsibility in raising awareness about suicide prevention, breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, and engaging communities, schools, and policymakers in meaningful conversations.
Akosua, who doubles as the Executive Director of the High-Tension Foundation, hosts Efisem, Ghana’s leading Saturday morning radio show focusing on social issues.
