The Ghana Education Service (GES) office in the Suhum Municipality was filled with joy and gratitude on Thursday, May 29, 2025, as Hon. Frank Asiedu Bekoe, Member of Parliament for Suhum made a generous donation to support Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates.
Represented by the Suhum NPP Constituency Organizer, Charles Nana Gyasi Onaana, Hon. Asiedu Bekoe, also known as MP Protozoa, presented a cash donation of ₵28,200 to fund a Guidance and Counselling Program aimed at preparing BECE candidates across all seven educational circuits in the municipality.
The initiative is part of the MP’s continued efforts to promote education and student welfare in Suhum, especially during critical academic milestones such as the BECE.
The donation was warmly received by the Municipal Education Director, Madam Angelina Aba Osei Bonsu, who expressed immense gratitude for the timely support.
Smiling broadly, she described the gesture as a significant relief for the Directorate, which had been working tirelessly to support students ahead of the exams.
She offered a heartfelt prayer for the MP, asking for divine guidance, protection, and continued success in all his endeavours, and commended his consistent commitment to improving the lives of students and the future of education in the constituency.
The donation marks yet another milestone in Hon. Asiedu Bekoe’s track record of impactful educational initiatives in the Suhum area.
