Media and events expert Global Ray has heaped praises on celebrated event producer and communications professional Stan Dogbe, describing him as one of the most detailed and disciplined figures in Ghana’s events and media industry.
Speaking on Atinka TV’s Entertainment Lounge hosted by Roman Fada, the Managing Director of Think Media Experts said Stan Dogbe’s attention to detail and professionalism continue to set him apart in the field.

“Stan is one of the few people you learn from afar. He is very detail-minded. From his setups to graphics, color combinations, and the brand he projects — he is always on point,” Global Ray said.
He cited the transition event held at Independence Square as an example of Stan’s excellence in execution. “Just look at the setup at the transition event. He nailed it perfectly. Very classic. Stan was behind that,” he added.

Global Ray, who has worked in the media and events industry for over 25 years, emphasized that the quality of one’s last production determines their reputation.
“In our industry, you are only as good as your last job. You may have had many good shows in the past, but if you fail today, that’s what people remember,” he noted.
Touching on challenges in event organization, he highlighted lack of planning as a major cause of poor productions. “Lack of planning means planning to fail. Even now, I say lack of quality planning is the issue. You can plan, but if it’s not quality, you’ll still fail,” he said.
Global Ray explained that while Ghana has competent professionals and some quality equipment, the industry often succeeds only when major players collaborate.
He mentioned firms like Silicon, Radiance Africa, and his own Think Media Experts as examples of companies that have joined forces to deliver major national events.
He called for government and private sector investment in the creative and events industry, saying it could drive tourism and economic growth beyond the traditional December peak season.
