Sam George Commends Organisers Of National Technology & Communications Awards For Promoting Dialogue On AI & Green Innovation

The Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Hon. Samuel Nartey George (MP), has commended the organisers of the National Communications Awards for their continued efforts in promoting meaningful dialogue and innovation within the communications and technology space.

‎The Minister gave the commendation when the team led by the Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) of RADComm Group, Mr. Richmond Anim Damoah called on him today to express appreciation for his support during last year’s event and to present a commemorative frame in recognition of his contribution.

Hon. George thanked the team for the gesture and reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to supporting initiatives that advance digital literacy, innovation, and collaboration between Ghana and global partners.

‎During the meeting, Mr. Damoah also extended an invitation to the Minister to attend this year’s edition of the National Communications Awards scheduled for 7th November 2025.

‎He highlighted that this year’s event will be complemented by a series of virtual discussions on emerging topics such as Artificial Intelligence in Africa, AI for Energy, and Green Mobility, organised with support from the UAE Embassy.

‎The National Communications Awards recognise individuals and organisations that demonstrate outstanding achievements in the fields of media, communications, and digital technology.
