NEIP Rolls Out Adwumawura Programme In Oti Region

The much-anticipated Adwumawura Programme under the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has officially commenced in the Oti Region, marking a new chapter in youth empowerment and job creation.

The programme kicked off with Orientation and Onboarding sessions for beneficiaries across all nine Municipal and District Assemblies (MDAs) in the region. These sessions introduced participants to the goals, benefits, and implementation framework of the initiative, aimed at equipping local entrepreneurs with the tools and support they need to succeed.

Participants expressed immense excitement and gratitude for the opportunity, describing the programme as “a timely intervention” that will empower them to improve their livelihoods and contribute to the economic transformation of the Oti Region.

Following the onboarding phase, entrepreneurship training is scheduled to begin next week. The five-week intensive training will run daily for three hours, providing participants with hands-on business management skills, innovation techniques, financial literacy, and access to mentorship. The initiative is designed to prepare beneficiaries to start, sustain, and scale their own enterprises with confidence.

The Oti Regional Directorate of NEIP Mr.Eric Gidisu has encouraged all participants to remain dedicated throughout the process, emphasizing that consistency and commitment will be key to success.

“We are building an Otipreneurial ecosystem — one that will inspire creativity, empower local businesses, and transform lives across the region,” the Directorate stated.

With its strong focus on innovation, empowerment, and inclusive growth, the Adwumawura Programme promises to become a cornerstone for economic development in the Oti Region
