The National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) has officially activated its 24-Hour Rescue Team, ensuring round-the-clock preparedness to protect lives and property across Ghana. With the message “Prevention Pays!”, NADMO urges citizens to prioritize safety and resilience.
In a bold step to enhance Ghana’s disaster preparedness and emergency response capacity, the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) has launched its dedicated 24-Hour Rescue Team.
The initiative is part of a broader effort to build resilience in communities, reduce disaster risks, and ensure swift, professional response in times of crisis.
With a well-trained team on constant standby, NADMO’s rescue unit is equipped to tackle floods, fires, building collapses, road accidents, and other emergencies across the country. “When disaster strikes, we are ready,” the agency proclaims — and their visible commitment reflects it.
The campaign, widely promoted under the slogan “Prevention Pays!”, is supported by a coalition of national partners, including media houses like GHOne TV, JoyNews, and UTV Ghana, as well as key institutions such as the Ghana Police Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and the Ministry of the Interior.
