The competition, organized by BRIDGE-in Agriculture, a 5-year Mastercard Foundation program, aims to support emerging Ghanaian agricultural entrepreneurs by providing access to affordable capital and capacity building.
The three winning companies, selected from a pool of talented entrepreneurs, were awarded cash prizes to further develop their innovative solutions.
Taking home the top prize of $5,000, DUCKPRO GHANA LTD is revolutionizing poultry farming with sustainable, protein-rich feed from Duckweed. This innovative approach is set to transform the poultry industry in Ghana.
Awarded $3,000, Wobil Technologies Limited is tackling post-harvest losses through mobile rice threshing services and farmer support. Their solution is poised to make a significant impact on rice farmers in Ghana.
Receiving $2,000, OASAL Group is converting cashew apple waste into industrial ethanol while supporting rural farmers. This innovative solution is not only environmentally friendly but also provides economic opportunities for rural communities.
