Ibrahim Sannie Daara Throws Massive Support Behind Kurt Okraku For Second Term.

Former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Sannie Daara, has endorsed Kurt Okraku to be re-elected as the president of the Ghana Football Association in the forthcoming elections.

Speaking on the legend sports show with Atinka fm’s Justice Adusi Poku, Ibrahim Sannie Daara charged all football loving enthusiasts to throw their support behind Kurt Okraku.

Kurt E. S. Okraku, was elected as the president of the football governing body of the country in 2019 after defeating five other competitors in a fiercely contested elections.

The football administrator whose first term is set to end in October this year, is seeking to be given the mandate to lead the GFA.

Nomination and filing period officially ended on Friday, August 11, 2023. The much anticipated election is scheduled to take place on 27th September 2023 at the Redaach Hotel in Tamale.

As stated by statutes developed by the Dr. Kofi Amoah-led Normalisation Committee in 2019, the GFA presidency is capped at two terms of four years each.

Ibrahim Sannie Daara, revealed that Ghana football will soon reap the benefits of his good works once he is done implementing his policies for the football fraternity. He emphasized that looking at other African countries like Senegal and Morocco , their football standard have gone higher due to their quality of leadership in charge of their Football Association.

“If Kurt has also started the journey, we should all help him and correct him where he falls short” he added.
He concluded that Kurt should iron out issues of concern with those who disagree with him while working to become one family and push Ghana football to its peak.
