Ghana Records Two New Mpox Cases, Total Now 119 – Ghana Health Service Confirms

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed two new cases of Mpox, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 119. The latest update was released on June 22, 2025.

Encouragingly, no new deaths have been reported, and the total death toll remains at zero. Furthermore, there are currently no patients admitted to health facilities for Mpox treatment.

Mpox, formerly known as monkeypox, is primarily transmitted through close contact with an infected individual.

The GHS continues to emphasize the importance of adhering to safety protocols and urges anyone experiencing symptoms or suspecting exposure to seek medical attention promptly.
