The Ghana Food Festival (GFF) 2025 has been opened, with a call on the public to extend support to underprivileged individuals and communities.
The Founder of the GFF, Emmanuel T. Forson, who made the call, noted that beyond celebrating Ghana’s rich culinary heritage, this year’s edition aims to create meaningful social impact through acts of kindness and community support.
Now in its 5th edition, the festival will take place on Farmers’ Day Weekend – Friday 5th and Saturday 6th December 2025, at the Untamed Empire, Spintex Road, Accra, from 10:00 AM each day.
The event is proudly endorsed by the Ghana Tourism Authority under the Black Star Experience and featured on the December in Ghana calendar.
The 2025 edition, themed “Honouring Our Farmers, Tasting Our Culture”, will pay tribute to Ghana’s farmers and highlight the role of agriculture in shaping the nation’s culinary identity.
The Ghana Food Festival 2025 promises two vibrant days of authentic Ghanaian food experiences, cultural expression, and family-friendly entertainment.

Attendees will enjoy a diverse range of traditional and contemporary dishes such as jollof rice, waakye, fufu, kenkey, grilled tilapia, banku, kebabs, palm wine, and more.
Beyond the food, the festival will feature live music and cultural dance performances, art and craft exhibitions, a kids’ playground, movie night and interactive games for all ages.
This year’s festival features a Donation Corner Booth where attendees and the public can contribute essential items such as toiletries, basic clothing, non-perishable food, educational supplies, and household items.
Individuals who are unable to stay for the event may drop off their donations at the festival grounds or contact the organizers to arrange delivery. All contributions will be distributed after the festival to support selected underprivileged communities in Accra and beyond.
The Ghana Food Festival 2025 is proudly supported by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), Ameyaw Debrah Media, Graphic Communications Group Limited, Breeze 90.9 FM, and Metro TV. Others include Ghana News Agency, ZM News, GH Media Hub, Nation One TV, and MBN TV.
Vendors offering food and non-food products, as well as organisations interested in partnership or sponsorship, are invited to be part of this year’s Ghana Food Festival.
