The Buzstop Boys, a youth sanitation volunteer group, has been recognized for their remarkable efforts in promoting cleanliness and proper sanitation in Ghana.
At the organization’s recent conference in Accra Themed, “Uniting for SDG 6 – Ensuring Clean Water and Sanitation for All,” which brought together delegates from across continents to engage in high-level discussions, policy simulations, and collaboration toward achieving Sustainable Development Goal 6.

The group’s leader, Oheneba Kwadwo Safo, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating that it will boost their confidence to continue promoting sanitation and cleanliness across the country.
“There is a danger ahead of us. Research has predicted that in 25 years, the amount of filth and plastic waste in the ocean will be three times the number of fish,” they cautioned.
