AfroTalks has officially announced its upcoming event scheduled for May 24, following a notable media engagement session held on May 1 at the Plush, Bold and Creative African hotel; Chatteau Nana Willine Hotel.
The session brought together stakeholders, media professionals, and partners in a forward-looking conversation about African identity, growth, and unity. The vision of AfroTalks to amplify African stories by African is one of the pillars that inspire the African Dream.
The engagement led by Bright Tenbil on be behalf of the AfroTalks team gathered insightful discussions under the theme: “The African and the Diaspora Dream.” ahead of the main event.
The gathering underscored AfroTalks’ ongoing commitment to connecting Africans on the continent and in the diaspora through meaningful dialogue and cultural exchange.
A highlight of the session was a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring Okyeame Kwame; an Artist, Activist, and Advisory Board Member of AfroTalks, Emmaline Datey; Founder of ICS Africa, and Diallo Sumbry; CEO of the Adinkra Group and Advisory Board Member of AfroTalks.
The panelists offered rich perspectives on the reality of the African Dream, tackling issues ranging from identity and creativity to economic empowerment and cross-cultural collaboration.
“The African Dream is not just a concept—it’s a movement,” said Bright Tenbil during the session. “Africa has a lot of problems and until we have honest discussions on the solutions, there would be no progress”
The AfroTalks 2025 main event, set for May 24 at the University of Ghana School of Law, promises to host a dynamic lineup of speakers from diverse sectors, including business, arts, education, and technology.

The event aims to inspire spaces for dialogues that amplify the African stories by Africans, ignite the African Dream and drive sustainable community impact.
