He may be “Small But Mighty”— Akwaboah Jnr., the phenomenal Ghanaian singer songwriter who is always called to perform when kings and queens gather, when the crème de la crème meets to party and have a good time.

He has, over the years, carved a niche for himself, and it’s really catapulting him to greater heights. He’s writing his own extremely remarkable and marketable stories.

Akwaboah Junior is regarded widely as one of the revered songwriters in the country — having written classics for great musical artistes, including Sarkodie — one of the most respected creatives on the African continent.

According to Sarkodie, Akwaboah Jr. contributed (wrote and produced) about 80 percent of the Mary Album released in 2015, which he describes as his all-time best body of work.

The album which featured the legendary Pat Thomas affectionately called the golden voice of Africa, Obrafour — one of Ghana’s best rappers, Efya — phenomenal Ghanaian vocalist, Mugeez — incredible singer and other great personalities was piece to honor his late grandmother.

Aside from all these, Akwaboah has written for others, including Becca. Akwaboah gave SP Kofi Sarpong one of his all-time big songs — ‘Ayeyi Nwom’.
