“My Time Will Come” — Black Sheriff Addresses His Absence In This Year’s Grammys

Sensational singer, Black Sherif has addressed his absence from the recently announced Grammy nominations, stating that although he had hopes of securing a spot, he remains unfazed by the outcome.

In an interview on Hitz FM with Kwame Dadzie and Doreen Avio, the award-winning Ghanaian artiste revealed that his team officially filed submissions for the 2025 Grammy Awards.

He admitted he was optimistic about receiving a nomination and would have been delighted if his work had been recognized.

Black Sherif, however, clarified that missing out on a nomination does not affect his drive or shift his focus as an artiste. According to him, external validations while appreciated do not dictate his journey, purpose or artistic direction.

He emphasised that the lack of a nomination is not a setback but rather part of the process of growth and visibility on the global stage. The rapper expressed confidence that the right moment will come for him to be recognised by the Recording Academy.

Black Sherif reiterated his commitment to staying authentic, working hard and creating meaningful music regardless of awards or industry acknowledgements.
